| Specialist Services Although cargo management and shipment remains our core business, we offer a number of support operations that enable you to exercise greater control over your supply chains. Customs liaison and consultancy We work very closely with HM Customs & Excise and can offer extensive advice on correct duty rates and procedures. As well as a full customs brokerage service, our main hubs have Direct Trader Input to Customs and are authorised as Inland Clearance Depots (ICDs) or Enhanced Remote Transit Sheds (ERTS). We also have REDS (Registered Excise Dealer Status) and Customs Warehousing authorisation for bonded goods, as well as developing approved CFSP (Customs Freight Simplified Procedures) We are also fully authorised by HMC&E to undertake export entries as part of the UK's New Export System (NES). All of which allow us to provide greater control over your import cargoes. Hazardous goods Legislation requires that all companies distributing goods by road, rail or inland waterways need to appoint a safety advisor with a DGSA certificate. Many companies are now using our Dangerous Goods Consultancy Service to ensure that they meet the legislative requirements. Logistics and more A full range of value added logistical operations are available where required, ranging from storage and breakbulk operations to pick and pack and bar-coding operations, all supported by state-of-the-art computer systems. Fiscal services Where necessary, we can provide full fiscal representation, market intelligence, as well as actually assisting in product purchase and sales, including all documentation. Such support services enable you to move your cargoes direct from origin through to final destination, with total peace of mind. |
