Ocean carrier alliances prepare to deploy their new mega-ships

With our portfolio of international oceanfreight forwarding services, Davies Turner notes that the Loadstar publication has recently carried a very illuminating article on the plans that the three main ocean carrier alliances have for their respective service networks and vessel deployments in 2023.

The Loadstar reports that between the three alliances, the current newbuilding orderbook stands at some 5 million teu, set for delivery within the next two to three years, in most cases replacing smaller tonnage and boosting the capacity offered by each alliance.
