The Role
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Branch Maintenance person to undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks across our Dartford branch. You will be responsible for maintaining both buildings and ensuring the yard remains tidy and safe. This role suits a hands-on individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine building maintenance and repairs, including minor plumbing, decorating, and carpentry. Report larger works to qualified contractors as needed.

Ensure the interior and exterior of the buildings are well maintained.

Meet and oversee FM service contractors on-site.

Maintain a clean and organised car park and yard area, including litter picking, weeding, and clearing leaves.

Perform low-level painting and internal maintenance to keep office areas presentable.

Unblock basic plumbing issues and flush through running water outlets, keeping records as part of legionella control.

Clean and position accessible CCTV cameras.

Maintain tidy archive and maintenance storage areas.

Deep clean vinyl flooring and carpeted areas as required.

Support the Facilities Maintenance Manager and assist Warehouse Managers with ad hoc DIY tasks.
This position is based at Edison’s Business Park, Crossways, Dartford, with good road, bus, and rail links.

Proven experience in general maintenance tasks
