Celebrating National Logistics Day
Today is National Logistics Day, and we welcome the news of additional government funding for the Generation Logistics - https://generationlogistics.org/ - campaign that was launched in 2022 to help raise the profile of the freight and logistics sector and attract a diverse range of individuals into the roles available to people from all backgrounds, experience and skills.

The work being done by Generation Logistics aims to identify and attract the next generation of logistics professionals into roles within our sector. We play our part in that via our annual apprentice recruitment programme.
National Logistics Day is an occasion to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the logistics industry. Hopefully, the additional government funding for Generation Logistics is further evidence that Whitehall recognises the hard work of logistics professionals and, embracing innovation, we pave the way for a more efficient, sustainable, and interconnected future.
The theme for National Logistics Day 2023 is “Innovation in Motion.” This theme highlights the crucial role of technological advancements and innovation in shaping the future of logistics. National Logistics Day 2023 aims to showcase how innovation and creativity are driving logistics forward and making it more efficient, sustainable, and resilient - issues that Davies Turner embraces.
