China retains top spot as the world’s largest logistics market

The article says that China’s logistics market registered an impressive USD2.0 trillion in revenue in 2022, marking a 4.7% growth compared to the preceding year.
Moreover, the country’s total social logistics market witnessed a year-on-year growth of 3.4%, reaching USD50 trillion in 2022, China’s national news agency Xinhua is reported to have said, citing data from the federation.
In 2022, the country’s top 50 logistics companies raked in nearly USD288 billion in revenue, as new internationally competitive enterprises emerged in the market.
The report underlines China’s continued dominance in the global logistics industry, fuelled by the country’s focus on modernising its infrastructure and developing its logistics sector.
