Disruption on Europe's border: Stay alert

Much has been written in the trade media about the potential for disruption to the movement of freight into Europe resulting from the EU’s Entry Exit System (EES), which enters into force in November.

As a very active participant in the provision of import and export trailer services across Europe, Davies Turner also notes that from today, Germany is introducing stricter controls at all its land borders for a period of six months to protect national security and prevent irregular migration.

Again there are significant concerns about potential disruption to the movement of vehicles, and we wish to assure customers that we will be doing everything we can to mitigate any problems.
