FIATA issues advice on Transatlantic air cargo security
Just over a week ago, we posted some news about the stricter security measures being implemented by the US and Canadian authorities, for air cargo destined for or transiting through Canada and the USA.
Now, with our strong presence in the expedited transatlantic airfreight business, through our subsidiary Davies Turner Air Cargo, we note that the global freight forwarding body, FIATA has issued a statement and provided some advice about the potential negative impact of those measures, which were introduced at the end of August by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Transport Canada.
