With our a strong presence in the expedited international airfreight business through our subsidiary Davies Turner Air Cargo we were drawn to an article on the Cargo Forwarder website which posed the conundrum that whilst stability in air freight is hoped for by many, will it ever exist?
Very doubtful, was the majority opinion among the participants of the Nordic Air Cargo Symposium, which took place last week in Copenhagen.
It concluded that the air cargo industry will remain trapped in a roller coaster ride.
However, besides risks, this ride also entails a variety of new opportunities.
They just need to be identified and used, was a key takeaway from the conference.
