Competitive Rail Rates: Save Up to 75% Compared to Air Freight
Davies Turner’s rail rates offer significant cost savings, providing a competitive alternative to air freight. Rates apply to non-hazardous stackable cargo and are subject to customs clearance and final delivery. Additional services, such as Ex Works rates and delivery to mainland Europe (cross-trade), are available on request.
Terms of Shipment
- Ex Works Factory Terms: Recommended for import rail shipments to maintain movement control and meet LCL cut-off times.
- FCA Xi’an Terms: Available if preferred; under these terms, the shipper is responsible for all local charges up to the Xi’an rail terminal.
- Switching from FOB to EXW: If you typically use FOB terms for ocean freight but wish to switch to EXW for rail, we advise renegotiating with your supplier to account for cost adjustments.
